If you fancy getting into the Christmas mood, then here are some Christmas Events to get you ready for the festive season: – Pantomime: Who doesn’t enjoy the Pantomime, it’s certainly one way to get into the festive spirit and is always full of plenty of laughs.  There are two local pantomimes on this year. The first being Aladdin on the 10th – 30th December in Venue Cymru.  Tickets cost around £20 but that depends on the day and the seat. It also stars Gareth Thomas. Fancy supporting your friends and peers in the shows that they’re putting on? BU Dance Bangor University Dance Club are putting on their winter showcase on the 10th December at 1:30pm and 7pm in JP Hall. The dance club will be presenting dances from each class including; Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Latin and Ballroom, Street, Burlesque, Irish, Belly and Pointe.  The dancers have put in so much hard work this semester it promises to be a fantastic show.  Tickets are £3. Ballet For any dance lover balletLORENTS’s adaptation of Snow White is not one to be missed. Appearing in Pontio’s Theatr Bryn Terfel on the 11th and 12th, this fairytale tells the story of a mother’s jealousy and of miners who reveal the importance of inner beauty. It’s Directed and Choreographed by Liv Lorent and was written and adapted by the Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy.
