Bangor University Horror Society

Attention horror fans! If you’re interested in the spooky and macabre, then Bangor University Horror Society is the place for you! Whether you’re a die-hard gore hound, or have never seen a horror film before, BUHS provides a welcoming atmosphere that caters to all tastes.
Are regular activities consist of weekly screenings (or ‘screamings’) every Friday from 7 PM in Academi’s Cinema Room. The films we watch are decided by you, via themed polls on our Facebook events; you can even add your own films.
But film-watching is not all we do. The society has regular socials, including alcohol and non-alcohol related activities, such as drinking games, games nights, and crossovers with other societies, including a humongous Halloween pub crawl! We also make regular trips for the latest horror cinema releases, and even to conventions. Our introductory event is an icebreaker quiz, held at Wheldon Lecture Theatre 1, at 7 PM on Friday 27th September, followed by a getting-to-know-you social.
Feel free to join our Facebook group, and message the committee with any questions you have. We’ll also have a stall at Serendipity, giving out free horror-related goodies. Feel free to come up and talk to us, we don’t bite!
