This weekend Bangor’s Sailing Club welcomed Aber for a weekend of racing.
In both fleets we managed to take 1st, 2nd and 3rd place overall with both the winners getting a clean sweep of wins. On the Saturday we were greeted to 20 to 25 knot winds blowing over the straights and so for some, staying upright became the priority. We still managed to run two races however and Bangor finished day 1 on top!
On Sunday, after an epic cowboys vs indians social, we got back out on the water to finish the race series, followed by a sail down to Port Dinorwic in the afternoon sun and much lighter breeze.
Brilliant weekend, great company but most importantly…. THAT MAKES IT 1-0 TO BANGOR! Now, lets bring back that win next weekend!
